Pride Brighton + Hove is the UK’s biggest Pride festival. A unique community fundraising event, Pride offers performances from international stars and attracts people from across the globe. Select Security and Stewarding Ltd run the security for the Parade and Park event, based in Brighton, they are experts at creating a safe environment for all events.
Foresolutions have hired the radio system to Select Security and Stewarding for
the last few years, supplying many large events across the country with radio systems and vehicle tracking for many applications.
The Requirement:
As a back-up to their stringent checks and policies, Select Security and Stewarding Ltd required voice recording on their main radio system to ensure that if any incidents occurred, they had done all in their power to keep revellers safe and secure.
The Solution:
Using the SMC Gateway, situated in a ruggedized case with battery backup and a Mototrbo DM4600 fixed mobile, allows a group channel to be recorded and the audio recordings saved onto the Gateway.
With up to 11GB of storage, and the audio compressed, up to a years’ worth of recordings can be held, and users can download the audio through a web- based graphical interface based on the time and date of an incident.
